CHEW CHEW

(All photos taken from my Iphone)

The other day I caught a train to Moonee Ponds and upon exiting the train station I came across 'CHEW CHEW', a newly opened cafe which was located directly across the road.

I didn't walk up close enough to look inside, but from the exposed brick triple shop front exterior, I definitely wanted to come back and check it out.

So yesterday I thought to take my sister there for a Birthday Breakfast (HAPPY 21st LAURA!!) as we both love the rustic provincial style which the cafe appeared to offer.

The fit out is so beautiful combing raw concrete floors, exposed original brick work & distressed timber. There's a centrepiece communal table and ample smaller marble top tables, along with a handful of industrial stools and other decorative touches like a charcoal embossed tin wall, an exquisite framed Mirror and an Antler Light Fixture. Ah Loved it all - even the coffee and Poached eggs with Bacon, Spinach and a basil hollandaise sauce were great.

Will be returning for sure
