I'm finding it extremely difficult to get out of bed at the moment with these Cold Winter Mornings in Melbourne. My snooze button is getting pressed at least 10 times before I actually manage to get myself up and out.

I came across the book Tucked In: For Everyone Having a Doona Day By Meredith Gaston in A Bookstore recently and found the illustrations very sweet. I also liked how Meredith encourages readers to to "use your time in bed to explore your creativity and heal your soul" and teach us how to analyse our dreams.

While in Europe, I am also going to explore Italy and The U.K.

Looking through various travel brochures and watching movies such as 'Eat Pray Love' and 'Letters To Juliet' I've come to love the gorgeous landscapes and colours of the vibrant Country that is Italy.

The tour I'm hoping to be a part of travels through Rome, Siena, Florence, Tuscany and Venice.

Getting a bit excited. Actually more like A LOT

Spending a bit of time at the desk in front of my Mac today, researching ideas for an Event I'm styling next month got me thinking. I'd like to make my Desk space look a bit more pretty & inspiring

Upon looking for Event Decoration Inspiration (that's a bit of a mouthful) I found Bash, Please - A Wedding & Event Planning Business created by Paige Appel and Kelly Harris*

Earlier this year they moved into their "Workstead" which as you can see from the pics above must be such an inspiring space to weave ideas. Their Industrial Chic Studio is flooded with natural light and filled with vintage finds, salvaged materials and family heirlooms. Combined with neutral colours to create a 'canvas', raw elements such as concrete floors, exposed ceilings and white washed brick walls... it is just...WOW.

Desk inspiration found.

*more on their amazing work later

Keeping warm (on this freezing day) with many cups of tea, reminded me of the Illustration 'Superb Tea' by Tabitha Emma

I plan to rent an Apartment for a month. Live like a Parisian. Eat Macaroons. Sit at a café and watch the world pass me by. Visit most of the places in Pia Jane Bijkerk's Book - Paris: Made By Hand. Explore Old Cobblestoned Streets, Art Galleries and Gardens (Plus much, much more) all the while only speaking en Français.

I can not wait. Only a little more than a month to go
